How green is your Hall?

Marton Village Hall already uses an air-source heat pump as the main source of heating. It also has a solar panel boosting the provision of hot water.

But we can do more ! Plans are being made, and funding is being sought, for

• Solar panels that will generate more than as much electricity as we use in a year, with the excess contributing clean energy to the grid (and funds to the Hall)
  

 

• Removing our dependency on the use of gas, with its associated Carbon Dioxide production, for heating water and radiators

• Efficiency improvements to minimise energy usage
